Through this agreement, Electric Car has also gained the exclusive rights to market and sell the new vehicles to its existing customer base in addition to and appointing new dealers in the US.
The company plans to commission its wholly owned subsidiary Imperial Coach Works and its custom manufacturing division, Imperial Coach Builders, to manufacture the cars at its 60,000sqft manufacturing facility located in Springfield using the incomplete auto vehicles bodies and chassis and electric drive trains and batteries to be supplied by Sunbeam.
The company, which hopes to manufacture up to 10 vehicles a day within the first 12 months of operation, will begin by manufacturing three ‘Pure Electric’ models including the Sunbeam Bolt in both 3 wheel and 4 wheel designs, the Sunbeam SX and the Sunbeam Roadster Convertible. All these models will come with the Sunbeam National Warranty.
Additionally, the company intends to launch the Sunbeam FasTrax and roadside assistance products as a part of the deal. The FasTrax product will enable 24/7 monitoring of the car remotely through phone or computer.

This agreement now gives our company the ability to provide the consumer a low cost full EV with a warranty service infrastructure already in place.”
