Power Climber Wind, a division of SafeWorks, said the new IBEX 1000P climb assist system is designed to be installed in any wind turbine tower.
The 1000P’s EasyClimb Controller enables users to customize assistance from 50 to 125 lbs.
The Prince Wind Energy project will generate up to 189MW of power to supply enough electricity for over 60,000 homes.
Power Climber Wind national sales manager Mike Russell said the 1000P system provided the portable and lightweight control box which is easy and convenient to use, improving productivity and safety for their wind technicians.
