Currently under-development on the Thames Estuary, 10 miles north of Ramsgate the project saw the completion of the first phase of installation in mid-December 2012.
Major construction activities are now complete with all 175 turbines under phase one installed and 55 of them currently in production, reported the BBC.
In the year 2012, the project saw the installation of 84 foundations, 175 wind turbines, 178 array cables and three export cables.
Once fully operational the project is expected to meet the power needs of 470,000 homes in the country.
A second phase with an additional 166 turbines is currently awaiting necessary regulatory approvals.
