The other changes to the drop-off program are:
K-Mart- 3945 Poleline Road: Only cardboard and newspaper/paper will be collected.
The bins for plastics, milk jugs, tin and aluminum will be removed.
Sister Cities Park- Pocatello Creek Road: Only cardboard and newspaper/paper will be collected. The bins for plastics, milk jugs, tin and aluminum will be removed.
The bins at City Hall-911 North 7th Avenue; Ridley’s 911 North Main Street; and Holt Arena, Northeast corner will remain as they are and accept all materials.
“The new, blue curbside recycling carts have been delivered to citizens pre-registered for the service,” said Debbie Brady, Recycling Coordinator, “and we are now ready to start collection just in time for Earth Week.” The City’s recycling trucks will begin collecting materials the week of April 20 for those on schedule A and the week of April 27 for that on schedule B.
“We are going to cut the ribbon on Monday as the trucks roll out for our first recycling pickup,” Brady explained.
