These seven projects, which bring the total value of the contracts that SRC has bagged to $21.8m, are expected to be completed before the end of the year.
The contracts include over $1m for the upgrade of the lighting at several locations of a southeastern healthcare system. The remaining contracts require SRC to upgrade lighting in three elementary school districts and at four fortune 500 industrial facilities.
The projects are mainly located in the Southeast, with a few in the Northeast and Mexico. SRC, which has already completed the audit of the existing facilities and has created an approved energy savings design, will now procure the materials and oversee the lighting installations.
SRC vice president Rob Wilson said that the new projects show just how broad the opportunity for savings through the implementation of energy efficient lighting is including a broad range of public and private sector locations.
