He helped STMicroelectronics grow its market share in the Americas region and expanded its revenue with key strategic customers and distributors. In addition, Kazerounian held leadership positions with STMicroelectronics smart card and programmable systems memory divisions. WaferScale was acquired by STMicroelectronics in September 2000.
Kazerounian received a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
