The new Pinnacle provides the option of either Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Chain of Custody Certified Wood.
Backed by a 50-year limited warranty, the new Pinnacle offers ongoing value to the builder and homeowner. The new sub-flooring has no added urea formaldehyde resins and will be manufactured in a number of plant locations to serve the market with regionally available product.
Our Pinnacle Premium sub-flooring product represents real value for today’s builders, stated Mike Dawson, Norbord’s vice president of sales, marketing, and logistics. Pinnacle is engineered to offer builders a sub-flooring product that supports their green building initiatives without compromising on performance, strength, or cost. It is another great example of Norbord’s commitment to providing builders with solutions to help them grow their businesses.
Norbord will be launching the new Pinnacle at the 11th Annual National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Green Building Conference in Dallas, May 9 to May 10, 2009 at booth #246.
Norbord is a Canada-based producer of wood-based panels.
