The CHP project will produce about 3.4MW of clean electricity and deliver more than 210,000 MMBtu of thermal energy, resulting in an overall efficiency of greater than 90%.

The project will reduce NGC’s energy intensity and greenhouse gas emissions, and serve as a model for energy efficiency and emission reductions at energy intensive industrial facilities throughout the US.

The New Jersey State has provided grant to RED, under the Clean Energy Solutions ARRA CHP program.

The grants provided through the program will be utilized for installation of CHP facility and to upgrade projects in New Jersey.
