Post acquisition, Water Elements, which was started in 2007 and has one production plant in Baltimore, Maryland, will be integrated into Kemira’s Municipal and Industrial business segment in the US as a subsidiary of Kemira Water Solutions.

Through the acquisition of Water Elements, the Baltimore plant and related production technology that generated $10m revenue in 2009, Kemira hopes to expand its geographical footprint, while enhancing its business of supplying water treatment chemicals for a range of industries.
