These utility scale solar PV plants, which deploy around 114,000 modules, were constructed in Cornwall, Hampshire, Devon and Wiltshire regions to boost the highest solar radiation levels in the country.
Lightsource Renewable Energy has purchased all the five projects. These projects will be added to Lightsource asset management portfolio, as part of an agreement with the company.
Martifer Solar UK country manager João Cunha said that the new cluster of projects showcases the company’s commitment towards the solar and renewables industry in the country.
Lightsource Renewable Energy CEO Nick Boyle said, "We are delighted to be working with Martifer Solar on this pioneering project. The entire cluster was completed on time, fitting in line nicely with the ROC (Renewable Obligation Certificate) changes from April onwards."
