The Eksim Group, which invests in wind and hydroelectric power in Turkey through its subsidiary Iltek Iletisim, is planning to develop the Amasya wind power project in the north of Turkey.

As of October 2011, Nordex will be supplying a total of 16 machines for the Amasya power project.

In addition, Eksim has signed a nine-year premium service agreement for the wind farm.

On completion next year, the project is expected to provide an annual yield of around 120 gigawatt hours.

The first project Nordex connected to the grid for Eksim was Susurluk with 18 wind turbines, and the second project in which Eksim and Nordex are working together is Tokat with 16 machines.

The second project, for which machines are currently being installed, is expected to be completed at the end of the year.
