The Smart Grid Interop Lab has been developed to deliver the utility industry a platform for managing risk exposure, verifying business case projections, and securing a more effective and efficient smart grid deployment.

The Smart Grid Interop Lab provides independent verification of device interoperability, and also validates compliance of low-voltage automation devices, meters, and consumer products with evolving smart grid standards.

Green Energy product strategy vice president Roxy Podlogar said using GreenBus at KEMA’s Smart Grid Interoperability Lab will also provide a platform for innovation, through advanced technologies and design, open-source-derived components, and vendor agnostic functionality.
