ReneSola has grid-connected four utility-scale projects in the UK.

The projects, which have a combined capacity of about 20MW, are situated in Barnstable, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Notthinghamshire.

The projects feature ReneSola’s Virtus II modules and are qualified under the 1.3 Renewable Obligations Certificate (ROC) program.

The design and construction of the projects has been managed by ReneSola. The company will continue to offer operations and maintenance services. .

ReneSola will operate the projects until they are sold to other parties as per its build-operate-transfer model of its solar power project business.

ReneSola CEO Xianshou Li said: "We are pleased to announce the grid connection of four utility scale solar projects in the United Kingdom, as we continue to execute our downstream strategy in the first quarter of 2016."

In August 2015, ReneSola agreed to provide Cofely Solar Technics with 30MW of solar modules for a ground-mounted, utility-scale project in Nottinghamshire in the UK.

ReneSola offers green energy products and on-time services for EPC, installers, and green energy projects globally.

Earlier this month, ReneSola sold two projects in Bulgaria to Solar World Invest Fund SIF.

The projects, situated in Sliven, are utility scale systems with capacity of 5MW and 4.7MW, respectively.
