The new plant, Tankpool REPEL, in Taubate allows MAUSER NCG to further recycle materials that will be used as post consumer resin for producing new packaging solutions.
In the new building, MAUSER NCG will process all types of used industrial packaging made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) from 0.5 liter solutions up to 1,000 liter Intermediate Bulk Containers and transform it in pelletized recycled resin.
The plant opening is expected for the early fourth quarter of this year.
NCG Tankpool director Ricardo Goldenberg said by recycling several types of HDPE packaging solutions, the new Tankpool REPEL unit will allow the company to expand its Total Recollect strategy to all of its customers.
"Moreover, this project is aligned with the National Policy on Solid Waste which includes the improvement of recycle activities and a proper waste disposal in Brazil," Goldenberg said.
Based in Bruehl near Cologne (Germany), MAUSER Group is a producer of industrial packaging.
The MAUSER reconditioning subsidiary NCG offers comprehensive reconditioning services at its location NCG Tankpool in Taubate.
