As part of an alliance, Robins & Morton will provide CARBO with both engineering and construction management services on selected assignments.
The facility will manufacture ceramic proppant, small spheres each about the size of a pin head, which the gas and oil industries use to enhance production from both oil and gas wells.
CARBO Operations vice president Mark Edmunds said the proposed project will be an important incremental increase to the company’s proppant manufacturing capacity.
