Citizenre intends to deploy the PV systems in upcoming months in Oregon across nearly 100 residential lease projects.
Grape Solar CEO Ocean Yuan said Citizenre’s design and installation capabilities are a rare find in the residential solar market.
"Our partnership expands our reach in multiple states and helps us make solar energy more accessible and affordable," Yuan said.
On the addition of 500 kW in Oregon in the months to come, Gregg also acknowledged Energy Trust of Oregon and the Oregon Department of Energy.
Citizenre CEO David Gregg said the combination of cash incentives from the nonprofit organization and Residential Energy Tax Credits from the state of Oregon is worthy of emulation by other states.
"The Energy Trust incentives and state tax credits make it possible for us to provide solar to Oregon homeowners, and the way the incentive programs are structured allows for a more professional, expedited process," said Gregg.
