AEP Ohio will apply the in-store discounts to purchases made by residential consumers at participating retailers throughout its Ohio service area.

The companies said the incentives are applicable to the Array R30 3000K Flood, R30 3000K Accent, and PAR38 3000K Accent models.

AEP Ohio manager energy efficiency and peak demand response Jon Williams said the LED Program is part of our gridSMART initiative to help the company’s residential customers use less energy, lower energy costs, conserve natural resources and protect the environment.

Nexxus Lighting said the company is currently working on similar joint rebate programs with additional US utility companies to make in-store discounts available to consumers who purchase the Array brand of light bulbs.
