The newly completed project, which provides a series of energy efficiency and infrastructure upgrades to LHAND facilities, including water conservation, HVAC and insulation technology systems, is expected to save LHAND over $600,000 per year in energy costs.
Prior to this, Ameresco has conducted several energy efficiency projects across LHAND facilities, including replacing central heating systems with new baseboard heaters and thermostats, installing and insulation further enhance the new heating systems and recently installed ventilation systems.
LHAND executive director Charles Gaeta said that LHAND is committed to enhancing the quality of their community and building stronger and healthier neighbourhoods and this ongoing energy efficiency project does just this.
