Electrocoagulation uses a very low voltage DC electrical charge to treat a wide range of differing waste streams containing heavy metals, oil & grease, TSS and more, removing not only are heavy metals and other difficult toxins from the water, but also oxidizing the water.
The OilTrap system can treat 5 to 400 gallons of wastewater per minute by giving contaminated water a small electrical charge in the ElectroCell that immediately separates the contaminants from the water, thereby helping customers to meet their treatment objectives.
The OilTrap ElectroPulse, which provides treatment at a cost of about $0.003 per gallon, is 100% automated by a Programmable Logic Controller that manages all system processes, monitors operation and errors and provides direct communication to the factory to reduce operator interface.
