The solar rooftop system employs approximately 9,294 JinkoSolar high-efficiency modules along with the customized racking solution designed and manufactured by Sentinel Solar.
This solar project is anticipated to generate around 2,540,000KWh of clean electricity that is enough to power around 150 homes annually.
JinkoSolar noted that the solar project has been commissioned under Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff plan.
Commenting on the project, JinkoSolar CEO Cheng Kangping said that by combining the company’s high efficiency solar panels and Sentinel Solar’s innovative project development plans, the company was able to ensure that Vine Fresh Produce’s greenhouse receives the maximum power output from their solar installation.
”The Province of Ontario is not only at the forefront of solar development, but is also well positioned to lead Canada in the adoption of solar power," added Kangping.
