Arenales Solar owns the solar thermal power plant is valued at EUR313.5m.
Ecolaire Espana will oversee the engineering, construction and commissioning of the power plant, while OHL Industrial will oversee operation and maintenance.
The power plant located in the city of Morón de la Frontera, is expected to begin commercial operations in late 2013, and will provide clean electricity for 175,000 people and save the 150,000 equivalent tons of CO2.
Supplied by Siemens, the Arenales solar park is comprised of 936 collectors covering a total area of 510,120sqm and will be arranged in six parallel links of 156 collectors connected in series.
The facility includes an energy storage system from Flagsol and the turbine power unit from GE.
Arenales Solar is 49% held by RREEF Infrastructure, 26% by Solar Millennium and 25% by OHL Industrial.
