Advantec will install REC Peak Energy Series Modules across locations in Ehime prefecture in Shikoku, one of Japan’s four islands.
REC Sales and Marketing Cells & Modules senior vice president Luc Grare said the company intends to invest further in Japan and to implement of the new FiT that will help to finance large scale commercial and industrial installations.
Advantec president Masahide Yamana said REC was selected as the company’s module supplier due to the excellent power output of their modules which are well suited for the large solar installations it is developing, in addition to European quality and REC’s commitment to invest here.
