According to the company, this self-service functionality allows for visibility into the financial impact of an organization’s participation in demand response.

All records are completely itemized by dispatch into capacity and energy payments, and can be viewed at an executive, business unit, or site level.

The upgrade of software platform by EnerNOC also includes new utility bill management functionality that aggregates the enterprise customer’s true spend on energy.

This will enable bill transparency for customers to track energy usage and expenses, identify outliers and mistakes, and forecast trends.

EnerNOC chairman and CEO Tim Healy said, "As EnerNOC continues to emerge as the leading provider of Energy Intelligence Software for the enterprise customer, we are bringing to market robust features that allow our customers to better understand and take control of their energy usage, and translate that into overall operational and financial improvement."

EnerNOC vice president of product management Fielder Hiss said providing greater transparency into the financial impact of demand response participation is critical for our enterprise customers, which often have sites in multiple regions across different business units.

"Offering organization-wide access to this information is designed to foster intra-company alignment on broader energy efficiency projects and initiatives across an organization," Hiss added.
