The acquired assets are expected to generate around 55 GWh per year, which can supply electricity for about 12,000 households.
REIF said that its wind turbines will also be part of a wind farm at Mässingberget, with a total of 11 wind turbines.
Since all of the relevant permits and planning permission have been granted, REIF plans to start preparatory work, related to the project, and intends to start operations at the beginning of 2015.
According to O2, turbine selected is Vestas V100-2.0MW, which has a rotor of 100m and an output of 2MW.
REIF managing partner Ralph Seraphim said the latest deal is the first wind power investment in Sweden.
"Mässingberget is attractive from an investor’s perspective because the good wind conditions make for a favorable yield in relation to a low level of risk," Seraphim added.
