US-based CAS has constructed facilities throughout the central western region, including facilities in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Colorado.
Alberici and CAS began working together three years ago, when they teamed with engineering firm Burns & McDonnell to perform the design-build construction of an aquifer recharge system for the City of Wichita, Kansas.
The $73m project was completed last year.
Alberici executive vice president Mike Burke said the acquisition of CAS provides Alberici with additional design-build capabilities and the ability to reach new customers and markets.
Alberici is engaged in serving the energy, building, healthcare, heavy industrial, manufacturing, water, and automotive industries.
