Yingli said that the certificate formally authorises the company to enter into contracts for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) engineering projects overseas.

In addition, it will permit the firm to dispatch workers internationally in order to fulfill such contracts.

Yingli Green Energy chairman and CEO Liansheng Miao said the certificate lays a foundation for the company to pursue engineering contracts for PV plants in international markets.

"We look forward to bringing our experience in PV engineering to the global market, where our strong brand awareness, high quality solar products, and technical expertise will help drive the industry’s downstream growth sustainably," Miao added.

Yingli Green Energy, which has around 20 regional subsidiaries and branch offices, covers the photovoltaic value chain from ingot casting and wafering through solar cell production and module assembly.
