The facility, which will be financed by Capenergie 2 and managed by Omnes Capital, will be installed over 79 acres in Saint-Hélène, near Bordeaux.
As part of the deal, Exosun will supply 81 Exotrack HZ horizontal single-axis solar trackers to the plant, which will support around 40,640 panels and 850,000 ft² of PV modules, orienting them toward the sun to increase output in comparison to fixed-tilt structures.
Exosun will support Fonroche throughout the construction, commissioning and operation phases of the plant, which is expected to produce around 16,900 MWh annually, to power about 4,828 homes.
Exosun president and founder Frédéric Conchy said the compay aims to optimise the plant’s profitability and obtain a rapid return on investment.
