As per the contract, Vestas will supply 10xV117-3.3MW turbines for the Ulvemosen project. The 33MW contract also includes a 15-year active output management service, which is a comprehensive service package including all necessary main components and material to maximize uptime and performance.

Delivery and commissioning of the Vestas turbines is anticipated to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2014.

The Ulvemosen project will be financed and owned by Sampension, while European Energy will operate the project. It is claimed to be third and largest project in Denmark to use the V117-3.3MW model.

European Energy CEO Knud Erik Andersen said that the company values the strong partnership with Vestas, including its high product quality and reliability and the company’s track record for on-time installations.

"We look forward to getting the V117’s for Ulvemosen up and running later this year," Andersen added.
