The news source noted that Vattenfall has consulted with the Swedish enterprise and energy ministry about its plans for British Energy.
Vattenfall is keen on expanding into new markets which offer growth opportunities and the UK market has good scope for the company, according to Vattenfall’s spokeswoman Maria Parent.
