The acquired boiler service business will be integrated into Wartsila in Dubai. This transaction follows Wartsila’s acquisition of the Denmark-based International Combustion Engineering announced in April 2008.
Wartsila’s entry into the new field of boiler services is expected to improve the company’s position and competitiveness as a leading total services provider.
This latest acquisition will also further expand the company’s geographical coverage in providing boiler service support to customers throughout the Middle East.
