Italy-based Windco is a project company owned by Electrabel, which is a subsidiary of the Suez Group.
With a total estimated annual production of approx 180GWh per year, the Trapani Salemi project will be able to satisfy the electricity needs of 75,000 Italian households, and will save the environment from almost 82,000 tons of CO2 a year.
Delivery of the project is scheduled to start in December 2008, and the project will be completed by October 2009.
