According to the companies, the agreement stipulates the test and trial of Disenco’s technology (the HomePowerPlant products), with a view to a possible future commercial sale in Endesa’s markets.

Disenco’s patented technology, after undergoing rigorous testing by Endesa, will be placed into field trialing sites in selected end user domestic and business premises, with the focus of this memorandum of understanding to explore the possibility of deploying the Disenco technology in the markets of Endesa.

Under the terms of the agreement, Endesa has the exclusive rights to use and exploit Disenco’s technology in Spain, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Colombia.

The agreement, which has a duration of 12 months subject to extension upon the agreement of both parties, does not necessitate any financial payments, but does oblige the parties to explore funding vehicles for the research and development of Disenco’s technologies, including regulatory and governmental initiatives.
