The agreement defines the terms of the industrial and commercial partnership and meets the compliance requirements of the European Commission’s anti-competition law.
Pursuant to the partnership agreement, industrial customers who are Exeltium shareholders will secure part of their electricity supply over the long term from EDF.
EDF is expected to optimize the use of its production facilities by supplying around 13TWh per year, over a total period of 24 years, and could start supplying electricity as soon as Exeltium secures financing for the initial investment.
