The areas affected include all of western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia, and the southwestern border of New York.
The company has asked customers who purchased kerosene from a retailer within the affected areas to return the purchased volumes to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement of the kerosene.
Pittsburgh Terminals stated that the kerosene might have been contaminated by gasoline, and poses a risk of fire or explosion.
