By that time, China Guodian’s capacity in operational power projects will touch 5,000 megawatts (MW) in Xinjiang.
A company representative stated that the agreement will help China Guodian extend its business operations in the area. The company will also assist the local administration in execution of major power projects, including west-east electricity transmission project and coal transportation to the east area from the western area.
China Guodian will construct a large-scale coal mine in Tuha region of Xinjiang and will initiate more renewable power projects in Xinjiang, particularly wind power, hydropower and solar energy.
