We had an arrangement with the Mittal group, ONGC Mittal Energy, and by letter dated 28 May, 2009, they indicated they are unable to proceed, said Energy Minister, Conrad Enill said.
He said that in the next bidding round NCMA block 2 will be included.
ONGC Mittal Energy had intended to spend $500 million in exploring five wells and production facilities construct in the upcoming four years.
