The joint venture company RWE Elektrownia Czeczott would construct a coal-fired power plant with a total power generation capacity of 800MW. KW would control 25% of the stake in the joint venture and would be in charge of the construction of the facility.
The total estimated cost for the construction of the power plant is EUR1.50 billion, which is scheduled for completion by 2015. The joint venture company would apply for a construction permit regarding the investment, shortly.
