The structures are part of FMC Technologies, Inc.’s delivery to Woodside Petroleum’s AUD12 billion Pluto liquefied natural gas (LNG) project.

The contract has a value of around NOK120 million for Grenland Group.

Woodside Petroleum is the owner and operator for the gas field Pluto, located northwest of Australia.

“Most of the subsea structures we fabricate are bound for the Norwegian Continental Shelf, but throughout the years we have also delivered structures to large projects worldwide. To be part of such a massive gas development in Australia is very exciting for us,” says Anund Rønningen, site leader of Grenland Group.
