The solar PV panels were installed on the roof of the central office building facing southeast on School Road. The electricity generated by the solar panels will either be used by the town or go back onto the grid, which will show up as a credit on the Weston’s electricity bill.
In early October 2009, the Board of Selectmen agreed to about $6,895 to purchase the other half at a steep discount.
