This deal covers automation-related services as part of the reconstruction, modernization and upgrade of RusHydro’s Volzhskaya, Saratovskaya and Votkinskaya power projects.
According to Emerson, the companies may also cooperate on modernization of control systems at hydropower plants in Dagestan, and on controls for future wind energy projects.
Emerson provides a range of automation technologies to improve power plant performance, including its PlantWeb digital plant architecture with the Ovation expert control system and AMS Suite asset management software.
