EGP NA owns 51% stake in the 148.8MW Rocky Ridge wind facility, placed in Kiowa County and Washita County.

The new wind farm, valued at about $250m, consists of 93 wind turbines with a capacity of 1.6MW each.

Enel Green Power provided the complete financing for the wind project as part of the 2011-2015 investment program.

The wind power plant, to be developed on 18,000-acre land, is expected to begin operations in the summer of next year.

Once fully operational, the facility will generate about 630 million kWh annually, supplying power to approximately 55,000 US households and avoiding the annual emission of over 470,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

The electricity generated by the Rocky Ridge wind facility will be sold to the Western Farmers Electric Cooperative, under a power purchase agreement.
