Siemens Financial Services provided financing for the 75MW wind project, located in the southern municipality of Santa Isabel.
The facility is expected to commence construction in this month and be completed in September next year.
Pattern will use new Siemens SWT-2.3-108 wind turbines for the installation over the next 11 months, at the project.
Finca de Viento Santa Isabel wind farm is expected to provide clean, safe and renewable energy equal to the annual power needs of about 25,000 homes.
Pattern has agreed to sell all of the wind energy produced from the project to the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, under a 20-year power purchase and operating agreement.
