Elnusa Chariot holds an 11% interest in the Bangkanai PSC, which is being operated by Salamander.
On completion of the transaction, Salamander will hold an 80% interest in the licence, located in Central Kalimantan.
Elnusa Chariot is being acquired by Salamander from PT ElnusaPatra Ritel for a cash consideration of $6m.
The Bangkanai PSC contains the Kerendan gas field development where a gas sales deal was signed in 2011 for the supply of 20bnbtu per day for 20 years.
The field also includes a further 31.9mmboe of gross contingent resource and is expected to be ready to deliver gas in mid-2013.
