Primera Oil & Gas, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Touchstone, was awarded the licence by the Government of Trinidad & Tobago in August 2007.
The Moruga licence, located in south central Trinidad, had no existing production or reserves assigned to it by Touchstone, the company said.
Touchstone is a Canadian oil and gas firm focusing on international operations and it is initially focusing on the island of Trinidad.
