The Workman Creek project, which is located in a remote area of the Dripping Springs mining district, covers 3520 acres and consists of 176 unpatented lode mining claims.

The current claims being acquired by Uranium Energy represents the Workman Creek North and South project areas.

Under the terms of the agreement, Uranium Energy will make cash payments totaling $84,640 and issue 300,000 restricted common shares to Cooper Minerals at closing.

Uranium Energy president and CEO Amir Adnani, said the project represents the company’s fourth project in pro-business and mining-friendly Arizona.

"This acquisition further demonstrates management’s commitment to expanding and diversifying our project portfolio at a viable cost for long-term growth" added Adnani.
