IESO CIO Bill Limbrick said IESO has relied on the Network Manager solution for a decade.
"MMS-based EDAC enables market participants to plan better and operate more effectively, bringing substantial savings for operators and consumers" added Limbrick.
ABB power systems division head of the network management business, Jens Birgersson said this solution will help improve scheduling and optimize resource commitment.
