The company will supply 18 units of the V90-3.0MW turbine at the project.
Vestas said the contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines as well as a service agreement, with an availability warranty.
Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to be completed in early 2013.
Upon operational, the wind power plant will generate enough power to supply the average needs of up to about 27,600 British households.
Additional details about the customer and the project location have not been disclosed.
