The firm will be responsible for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of 13km of 132kV double circuit cable through Nottingham, UK.
The project will help to reinforce the supply to two existing major substations, Nottingham East and Nottingham North.
In addition, it will provide a new supply from the 132kV substation at Stoke Bardolph.
Morgan Sindall’s design business, Morgan Sindall Professional Services, has been appointed to carry out the electrical and civil design on the project.
Work on the project is expected to start on site in March 2012 and is due for completion in December 2013.
