EVGI is in the process of completing its bio fuel production facility in Groveland, Florida, and it must begin production by 1 April 2012.
The purchase order is for ASTM Fuel only and, at current market prices, this order is valued at about $12m.
EVGI CEO Randall Lanham said production is expected to begin in the second quarter of this year.
