The contract involves the construction of six field compression stations and one central processing plant to service QGC’s Queensland Curtis LNG Project.
The facilities will process gas that will be transported through an underground pipeline network to Gladstone where the gas will be liquefied.
Thiess managing director Bruce Munro said Thiess has a culture of valuing and building long-term partnerships and the company is proud to work with QGC on this project of state significance.
Work will begin in February 2012 and is expected to be completed in April next year.
